Everyone’s Excited but the Competition
Buckle up, Alabama. There’s a new compact in town, and between the multiple trim levels, two body styles and three powertrains (four, counting the RS), the 2016 Ford Focus in Scottsboro, AL promises to deliver a level of performance, style and innovation that leaves the competition catching its collective breath. It’s coming in fall of 2015 to Harbin Automotive, and when it arrives, it promises to get drivers in Huntsville, Chattanooga and beyond talking as well.
As with all of Ford’s outstanding models, it all starts under the hood for the 2016 Ford Focus. Standard for the new model year is a 2.0L Inline four-cylinder engine that purrs with 160 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque, good for an estimated 36 highway mpg. Next up is the available 1.0L EcoBoost inline three-cylinder that uses auto stop-start technology to deliver a fleet-footed 123 hp and an awesome 42 highway mpg. And at the top of the line...drum roll please...is the ST trim’s 2.0L EcoBoost inline four-cylinder, which churns with the fury of 252 hp, 270 lb-ft of torque, and an excellent 32 highway mpg. In any configuration, you can be confident not only in the Focus’ performance, but also that you’re making the competition jealous.
The Ford Focus has long been the gold standard for compact capability, and this is never more true than in the 2016 model. It shares a design language with many of its larger Ford siblings, borrowing the confident silhouette, dynamic lines and dragon-eye headlamps to make its attitude unmistakable. Ten different wheel choices are also available in addition to fourteen paint colors, meaning that buyers can personalize their purchase to suit their needs and lifestyle.
Once inside the 2016 Ford Focus, drivers enjoy a cockpit replete with all sorts of amenities, both for comfort and connectivity. Drivers can now enjoy the all-new SYNC 3 technology hub, which offers easy-to-use smartphone connectivity and a color capacitive touchscreen for streaming music, accessing turn-by-turn navigation or using social media. The 2016 Ford Focus also now offers a standard rear view camera, making each maneuver safe and easy.
The 2016 Ford Focus is set to arrive at Harbin Automotive in fall of 2015, and we’re already taking requests and orders from Alabama drivers. To learn more or to schedule a test drive, visit our dealership today!
