Mother’s Day 2018 Events in Huntsville AL

Mother’s Day at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center

orange juice in glassesMom will get in free with one paid admission at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center ($25 for adult admission).  Activities and information on that day will focus on Mars and NASA’s plans for human space exploration of the red planet.

Mother’s Day Brunch and Berries Class

Learn how to make chocolate covered strawberries and enjoy a great buffet, beverages, and a special gift in this wonderful day. Cost is $40 per person, and the event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Kalm Studios.

Friday Concert on the Dock

A little before Mother’s Day you can enjoy the free Concert on the Dock that Friday. May 11 will feature Will Stewart. The concert is free, parking is $5 and food will be available to purchase.

Burritt on the Mountain Celtic Day

On May 12, the whole family can enjoy Celtic Day at Burritt on the Mountain from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. celebrating the culture and traditions of Wales, Ireland and Scotland. This day is included with general admission, which is $10 for adults, and $8 for students.

India Street Food Festival

If you want a taste of something different from the usual Mother’s Day buffet, the India Street Food Festival in Madison AL will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bob Jones High School. Cost is just $7 to sample a variety of different foods from India.
