2019 Silverado Gas Horsepower and Torque

We’ve already written a little about anticipated 2019 Chevy Silverado powertrain options, but at that point we didn’t have engine output numbers, just the knowledge that this full designed truck would be available with six powertrain combinations. We know for sure now that this will translate into five different engines, with three transmissions. You can get details of engine output on the 2019 Chevy Silverado and how these engine and transmission combinations shake out below.

Newly available for 2019 is a diesel engine option on the classic Chevy light-duty Silverado. Chevrolet hasn’t release the engine output numbers for this engine yet, and we would be hard pressed to even speculate at this point. We see another blog post in our future! This diesel engine will be available on LT, RST, LTZ, and High Country trims and will come mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This diesel powertrain will become available sometime early in 2019.
