Here are your 2014 Winners of the Harbin Automotive Group Loyalty Scholarship!

Chevy Ford Scottsboro ALHarbin Automotive Group Loyalty Scholarship

As we reach the end of the school year, many of our area students are preparing to enter into a college or trade school, and some are even joining the workforce immediately upon graduating. As always, we at Harbin Automotive have been steadfast supporters of all of our area’s young people, and are happy both to congratulate them and wish them success and luck going forward. However, we’d like to recognize two area graduates, our two 2014 recipients of the Harbin Automotive Group Loyalty Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to two area students, one male and one female, who best exemplify the qualities of loyalty and responsibility that we aspire to at Harbin Auto. So, drum roll please….

Madison Noelle McBride

Madison Noelle McBride

Madison Noelle McBride

Madison is a 2014 graduate of Scottsboro High School, and is the daughter and stepdaughter of Amy and Jarred Grentz. She proudly serves on the Senior Counsel and is also a member of the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). Through this experience, she’s developed a strong attraction to the public health field, and at one point was awarded 3rd place statewide in a HOSA Public Health event. After shadowing and assisting at a local dentist office, she gained a passion for dental hygiene, and will be pursuing a career as a Dental Hygienist as a student at Northeast Alabama Community College and Wallace State Community College at Hanceville. As a valued member of the Harbin Automotive family, we wish her nothing but the best of luck.

Collin is also graduating as a part of the Scottsboro High School Class of 2014, and is an active member of Trinity Baptist Church, Ducks Unlimited, and FFA. Of course, it’s difficult to mention Collin without discussing his achievements on the football and baseball fields, where he has been a regular fixture for four years, breaking several records in both sports and achieving Most Valuable Player in football along with three All-Region seasons in baseball. He’s also an avid outdoorsman, holding the Alabama state record for largest Buffalo Carp while bowfishing. Collin’s next step is attending the Southeast Lineman Training Center School in Trenton, GA, and we at Harbin Automotive would like to wish Collin continued success in all his endeavors.

On behalf of all of us at Harbin Automotive, we’d like to wish all of our area graduates the best of luck going forward, and a very special congratulations to our two scholarship winners!
