With spring fully upon us, many families with children (or grandchildren) are planning to put on their best pastel-colored polo and compete with other children on a quest for some chocolate. That’s because Easter is nearing in our area, and with it come one of our favorite traditions at Harbin Auto: Easter Egg Hunts. Bunny Bonanza at HBG — Huntsville Botanical Garden — Saturday, April 4th

From 10am-1pm on the Saturday morning, over 10,000 eggs will be available for retrieval for the area’s children. It’s available for children of all ages, with a price of $5 per person. Tickets may be purchased online beforehand, which is recommended for those who are not a member of the HBG.

Easter Egg Hunts near Huntsville ALPeter Cottontail Express — North Alabama Railroad Museum, Huntsville — Saturday, April 4th

For the kid in all of us, enjoy a ride with Peter Cottontail! Enjoy a train ride through North Alabama, receive a special treat along the way, and get a picture taken with Peter Cottontail himself. Each ride takes roughly 40 minutes, and prices and scheduling information may be found by following the link above.

Baskets Full of Fun Easter Jubilee — Burritt Mansion, Huntsville — Saturday, April 4th

This one sounds like lots of fun. Visit the old-fashioned Burritt Mansion from 11am to 3pm to collect eggs and treats from historically-dressed characters, enjoy live music and even enjoy a new event, the Time Travel Adventure. This event is not one to be missed.

Dublin Park 8th Annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt — Dublin Park, Madison — Friday, April 3rd

Take your favorite spring time activity–hunting for Easter eggs–and turn the lights off! This event starts at dusk on Friday night, and is intended for children aged 5-12. It takes place at Malcolm Field, and full details may be found by following the link above.
