We’ve already cleared space on the lot and in the showroom for the 50th Anniversary edition, which is sure to be one of the hottest vehicles to roll through these parts in some time. Now, with its release imminent, we’ve gotten an exclusive peak at what’s inside, and now we’re gonna share that with you, Alabama! Here are our five favorite features on the 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang!

Lightweight Construction. We all know of the benefits of lightening the load a little. The resulting vehicle will be more agile, more fuel-efficient, and will get more out of its powertrain. To that end, Ford has made the Mustang lighter than ever before, and it weighs approximately 200 to 400 pounds lighter than the vehicles it’s most often compared to, the Chevy Camaro and the Dodge Challenger.

2015 Ford Mustang Scottsboro Huntsville ALTerrific Standard Features. Although the optional features are obviously amazing, what comes standard in the Mustang is now better than ever before. Every Mustang now receives Push-Button Start, HID headlights, LED taillights, independent rear suspension and double-ball-joint front suspension. Additionally, the standard powertrain is now a 300-hp 3.7L V6, one of the finest standard powertrains available in any class.

Great Tech Options. The technology options for the 50th Anniversary edition of the Mustang represents a bold step forward for the model. Available features include adaptive cruise control with collision mitigation, voice-activated nativation, and Ford’s MyKey system to allow peace-of-mind for parents of young drivers. Additionally, the central display and instrument cluster is easier to read and use than ever before.

The Sweet Four-Cylinder Drivetrain. While the standard V6 is rightly praised for its excellent numbers, it might be the 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder engine that is most attractive to drivers. While offering both “Sport” and “Track” driving modes, drivers receive over 300 hp and better than 30 highway mpg. Yikes.

The GT is Just Bonkers. Of course, no conversation of the 2015 Ford Mustang can be had without mentioning the GT edition. The GT receives a 435-hp 5.0L V8 that rumbles with pure, unbridled American muscle. It is also specially tuned to provide excellent handling, and the independent rear suspension allows for a smooth ride as well.
