2019 Chevy Suburban RST Performance Package Release Date
This new performance package will be available on the 2019 Chevy Suburban RST trim later this summer as an upgrade. What’s included in the Suburban Performance Package?
The 2019 Chevy Suburban RST Performance Package others both powertrain and appearance enhancements. On the powertrain end, it will equip this excellent SUV for the first time with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that offers 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. With this V-8 engine the 2019 Suburban RST with the Performance Package will get a 10-speed automatic transmission to maximize power, and the Magnetic Ride Control active suspension that was first available on performance models of the Chevy Camaro. Between these three attractive features, this 2019 Chevy Suburban model should offer up to 8,100 pounds of towing capacity (though this is an estimated number at this point…expect full performance specs as this model’s release date gets closer!).

RST Performance Package Appearance Highlights
While the premium powertrain is the draw of the Performance Package for most drivers, this optional package also delivers good looks. A black grille and mirror caps, black roof rails and window trim, body-colored grille surround and handles, and black Chevy bowties and branding give this model a sporty and streamlined appearance. Attractive 22-inch wheels come standard.
The RST Performance Package was first available on the 2018 Chevy Tahoe, and it will continue being available on that SUV as well.
