The 2016 models keep on arriving at Harbin Automotive, and we’re doing all that we can to keep up. I mean, with all of the fall festivities also occupying our time, it’s understandable that even the exciting arrival of our cars almost gets short-shrift. That said, we’re excited to announce the debut of one of our all-time favorite models, back for the new model year: the 2016 Chevy Impala. Let’s take a quick look at all that it has to offer.
2016 Chevy Impala Release Date | Scottsboro AL
For decades, the Impala has been the benchmark of full-size performance in the Chevy lineup, and it’s never been more true than in 2016. The latest edition of the Impala boasts two awesome engine options: the standard 2.5L inline four-cylinder that uses stop/start technology to produce up to 30 highway mpg, and the muscular 3.6L V6 that employs direct injection and variable valve timing to produce 305 hp and 29 highway mpg. In either case, the Impala boasts premium electric rack-and-pinion steering and an available variable-effort feature to promote power and tighter steering.
The signature dual-cowl cockpit returns for the new model year, welcoming new additions such as heated and ventilated seats and chrome or woodgrain accents throughout the dashboard. It also uses Bose Active Noise Cancellation, where triple-sealed doors and acoustic-laminated glass inhibit unwanted noise in the cabin. Factor in the soft-touch materials and spacious interior cabin, and the 2016 Chevy Impala proves again to be one of the most welcoming models in its segment.
To make every journey enjoyable, the 2016 Chevy Impala now offers an available 4G LTE WiFi hotspot to seamlessly connect up to seven smart devices at once. Additionally, the updated Chevy MyLink interface boasts an 8-inch diagonal touchscreen as well as Apple CarPlay connectivity to easily stream music, access apps and social media, or use turn-by-turn navigation.

Chevy has truly got this safety thing down pat. The 2016 Chevy Impala starts with ten standard airbags, a high-strength steel safety cage and a standard rearview camera, then sweetens the deal with crash mitigation features that must be seen to be believed. They include forward collision alert, blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert and lane departure warning, meaning that the Impala has you covered from all directions.
The 2016 Chevy Impala is set to arrive at Harbin Automotive in the coming weeks, but we’re already taking orders and scheduling test drives at our Scottsboro-based dealership. To learn more, visit our dealership today!
