2015 Chevy Cruze Release Date
It wasn’t so long ago that buying an American compact sedan was similar to buying sushi from a gas station or having dental work done in Mexico. It simply wasn’t done. American compact cars were less efficient, less dependable and less powerful than their Asian and European counterparts, and there was a dire need to make a change. And so, that’s exactly what Chevy did with the Cruze. It signaled the return of American models to dominance in the compact sedan class, and with the upcoming release of the 2015 Chevy Cruze at Harbin Auto, it’s truly better than ever.
So, let’s take a closer look, shall we?
While the American compact models of old offered sluggish, uninspiring performance, the engines offered in the 2015 Chevy Cruze are anything but. The now-standard 1.4L four-cylinder engine offers an excellent 38 highway mpg, which would already be enough to turn more than a few heads. However, upgrading to the Cruze Eco edition returns 42 highway mpg, while the new 2.0L Turbo Clean Diesel engine achieves an unheard-of 46 mpg. It’s pretty clear, after looking at these great powertrains, that the days of American passivity are far behind us.
For modern drivers, it isn’t enough to simply show up with some clever styling and good fuel economy, and just call it a day. To that end, the 2015 Chevy Cruze now offers a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, which allows passengers to connect up to seven (Seven!) smart devices during travel. And, since they won’t be sapping their batteries due to the dedicated wireless hub, passengers will never be lacking for power either. This is to say nothing of Chevy’s famed OnStar service, which automatically contacts Chevy’s emergency services in the event of an accident. Simply put, it’s pretty good to drive a Chevy.
Great Safety Technology
Although the OnStar Emergency Response technology gets much of the press, this is really only half the battle for the 2015 Chevy Cruze. With Stabilitrak Electronic Stability Control there to detect when your vehicle is losing control, you can hope to more ably avert auto accidents. If you do crash, the Cruze is there for you then as well, with 10 standard airbags and a high-strength steel safety cage. In the 2015 Chevy Cruze, you can drive in all conditions with confidence.
