Big Buck Contest

The Big Buck contest has been absolutely amazing once again this year. This is the sixth year we are holding the event and we’ve seen more involvement than ever before. But we aren’t done just yet. There is one week remaining in the Big Buck competition and we’re hoping a few of our hunters still  plan to bring their deer to our lot.

If you aren’t familiar with the Harbin Automotive Big Buck competition, here’s a little background on the event. We set it up six years ago to start a friendly competition between our customers to see who could get the biggest buck. Every year, the event runs from Oct. 15 – Jan. 31 and local hunters bring their deer into the dealership to have them scored. Everyone who brings their deer into the dealership gets a prize and we hold a drawing after Jan. 31 for a number of larger prizes including Yeti coolers, tree stands, and hunter packages.

Over the course of the past few years, we’ve seen deer reach the 170 and 180 inch mark. We’ve even seen a few state records. As you might know, we have a passion for the outdoors and this event helps us bond with the community, which is important to us as a dealership.2014 Ford F-150

There are a few rules to the competition. First, the deer must be shot within 60 miles of the dealership to ensure we’re catering to local hunters. Second, everyone must hunt in a fair chase environment. When you get your buck, bring the entire carcass and rack to Harbin and we’ll score it for you. For those under 16 years old, we also have a separate junior division where we’ll score does and bucks.

With one week remaining, don’t miss your chance to win some great prizes. We’ll post the winners online and notify those who won prizes in the drawing. When you pickup your prize, we’d be more than happy to allow you to test drive the 2014 Chevy Silverado or Ford F-150 if you’re considering buying a new truck.
